Onalaska

Last weekend Carl had a CE course in LaCrosse and the kids and I decided to go along. Our first place when we cam back to Wisconsin following School was Onalaska. This was a perfect time to visit our old stomping ground, and show the kids where they lived 8 years ago. We stayed in Onalaska which is just outside LaCrosse. We did some shopping, driving around and relaxing.

Having the days to ourselves we relaxed in our room at the Stony Creek Inn for some well needed R&R. I think the Coulee Region of Wisconsin (the Western side) is some of the most beautiful spots in all of WI. I was so mad because the weather was overcast and I could not get any really good pictures of the countryside. Trust me it is amazing with the rolling hills and evergreens. I love it! It felt good to be back. We went up to Granddad Bluff which overlooks LaCrosse. It is one of those places we always took visitors when we were there. It is okay Scott, there is a fence to keep you from falling!

This is our first place in Wisconsin. We had the right side of the duplex. It is on Franklin St. It was a great beginning for us. The kids do not remember it, they were only 4 and 3. We have good memories there and made some good friends also! We miss you Travis and Keri! Do you miss Onalaska?

Yes I do, it is so pretty there and everything is so close. We met a lot of great people (including you guys) and it is awesome that we can keep in touch this way. I hope to go back there sometime.

Isn't it amazing how much has happened since dental school? In some ways it seems like just yesterday, and in many others it seems like 100 years ago. Cute pics of you all!
