On May 1st we went to our first Brewer game of the season. They played the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was a fun game, but they lost. It was a beautiful day, but a bit cold so they left the roof closed. It is a really nice stadium, not without its problems, but worth the tax money!
We got our tickets pretty last minute, so we were pretty high up. We did have the first row of the upper decks which was nice for leg room. Smile guys! Kaitlyn had her hair highlighted earlier that day, she is growing up.
Shot of the field. It was throw back night which was neat. I love the old uniforms, except they are ones from the 80's. Does that make me a throw back?! That was when I really followed the team and "loved" the players. Oh how I swooned over Paul Molitor and Robin Yount.
What Brewer game is complete without the running of the Sausages (and they even have bodyguards! Just kidding). Everyone gets into it and cheers for their favorite. Wisconsin is a bit odd; cheeseheads and running sausages.
