This past Saturday Kaitlyn learned how to mow the lawn. We got a few days of good rain last week, so the grass turned green and very thick, fast. Not wanting to let her brother earn all the money she gave it a shot.
It was a pretty hot day and it shows on her face! She was hot and tired.
She did a really good job and will not need the supervision as long as Scott did. She will have to do it with us with her maybe once more, but she really handled the mower very well.
I am sure the neighbors will be so glad once they both get the hang of going in a straight line. We usually have to go back and try to clean up the lot lines, but that can be challenging. The kids are sure growing up!

Go Kaitlyn! I am surprised she didn't pull her hair up! It is WAY TOO WARM to wear hair down when mowing!!
I can't wait until Will is older to do chores! I can already picture Jordan now...watching out the window eating bon bons while Will mows! jk

Poor Riley, Travis used to work at a golf course in high school so he is a perfectionist but he wants to earn some money so next year we will try him out. Have a goof weekend.
